How much is postage for one of your boxes?

Postage is a flat rate of $20 anywhere in the world. We also have express options to the USA/Canada for $35 and $45 to the UK which guarantees delivery in 2-4 business days.

How long does international delivery take? Who do you use for postage?

International Shipments

While the transit time for your shipment differs dramatically depending on where it is going in the world, the below gives a rough idea of timeframes.

• Economy Shipping - DHL eCommerce (5-15 business days)
• Express Shipping - DHL Express (2-4 business days)

All local orders are posted with Australia Post Express.

Can I add a note & photo to my order?

Yes, you can. Our Build Your Own and Christmas Boxes include a note & photo in the price. If you are purchasing one of our "pre-made" boxes you can add a personal note and photo to your order for $5 on the cart page.

When do I add my note & photo?

After you have completed payment a form will appear for you to fill in with your note and upload your photo.

Do the boxes come with a small koala/kangaroo toy as seen in the pictures?

Yes, every box comes with a small animal keychain!

Why did you start Down Under Box?

With the Down Under Box, we wanted to make it easy to get your favourite Aussie snacks delivered to you (or a lucky friend) no matter where you are in the world.

Not only does it cost an arm and a leg to send these highly coveted Aussie items overseas, there are tricky customs declaration forms to deal with and plenty of time to be wasted waiting in line at the post office.

Whilst all of the products included in the box are available within Australia, our service offers significantly cheaper internationally shipping and saves you all the time and hassle of doing it yourself.

On top of the cost of the food items/souvenirs, you have the extra cost of shipping boxes and the cost of the shipping itself (Australia Post retail rates are over double the cost of shipping with Down Under Box). Add to that extra cost the significant time investment to track down all of the items, fill out tricky customs declaration forms and waiting in line in the post office.

What sort of paper do you use for the note & photo?

Notes are printed on thick premium paper with a satin finish and all photos are printed on 4”x6” photo paper with a professional grade photo printer.
